Notice of Intent to Marry (NOIM)
Before you can marry you must submit a “Notice of Intent to Marry” to the celebrant. This can be done no earlier than 18 months before the wedding date and no later than one month before the wedding date. (Under certain special circumstances it is possible to shorten the period of notice)
You can either fill this in when you meet with me or you can download a copy of the NOIM here.  (Left click to open, right click to save)
The NOIM provides your identification information and the date and place of your wedding. You must also provide proof of your birth dates and, if you have been married previously, evidence of the dissolution of the previous marriage or death of your spouse. More detailed information can be found on the official site of the Australian Government Attorney General. Click here to open it in a new window.
